Champions Special Ministries serves persons with disabilities, their families, and the church through engaging day camps and programs.
Our History
Champions Special Ministries was founded in 2013 by Alison Gromer in Overland Park Kansas. Alison established Champions to serve individuals with disabilities through summer day camps and school year programs. Champions held seven camps in seven different cities in the South Central Region of the US. Champions also held school year events in the Kansas City area and has passed that role on to a new organization, Joy KC. https://www.joykc.org/
